Swansea 2-1 Fulham match report special

ZSN was lucky enough to have tickets to Fulham against Swansea at Craven Cottage. Our man Zachary Macpherson was there to write the special match report.

The game started off without many chances, with Fulham having the majority of the ball possession. A few minutes in however, the Cottagers had a good chance, with a strike that just looped over the bar.

It was Swansea who struck first though, with Danny Graham's effort finding it's way into the net around 20 minutes.

The half stayed at 1-0 to the Swans, with both teams having spells of pressure.

Soon after the break, however, a David Stockdale (the Fulham goalkeeper) mistake led to Jonathan De Guzman neatly putting away his shot to make the score 2-0.

Fulham, who had already been making the ball stay in Swansea's half, pressured Tremmel in the Swans goal and were rewarded with Bryan Ruiz scoring after a goal-line scramble which ended with the Costa Rica international making the score line 2-1.

Despite many times when only a good defence stopped Fulham scoring, including a disallowed goal for offside, Swansea held on to take the three points back to South Wales with a 2-1 score.
