Underdogs set up unlikely final

Bradford & Swansea set up an unlikely final as they beat their higher-placed opponents over two legs.

Bradford, who beat Wigan and Arsenal, went into their second leg against Aston Villa with a 3-1 advantage.

Despite losing on the night 2-1, the Bantams went through on aggregate 4-3, amid joyous celebrations. They became the first fourth division side to reach the final since Rochdale in 1962.

Swansea were also ahead after the first leg, a 2-0 advantage. The match itself ended 0-0, but there was some controversy.

In the 80th minute, the ball went out of play. A ball boy came to pick it up, before deciding to time-waste and lie on the ball. Eden Hazard tried to get the ball, but when that failed, he stepped back and kicked the ball boy in the ribs! The boy fell over, obviously hurt, while Chris Foy sent off Hazard.

So it will be Bradford versus Swansea in the Capital One Cup final.

There weren't that many Cupsets in the third round. The first fixture was probably the most surprising, with Brighton beating Newcastle 2-0.
